BELOIT — A sign, at least a temporary one, is finally up at what will be Rockford, Ill.-based restaurant Poke Green’s first location in Wisconsin at 319 State St.
Hendricks Commercial Properties announced Poke Green as its first new tenant in the freshly renovated 311-319 State building way back in August 2025 and then took out a building permit for the interior buildout in March.
Finally, in late July, a sign appeared in the window saying “Open Soon,” although a Geronimo Hospitality official said there is no target opening date and a peek inside indicates there’s still much work to be done. Poke Green is a Hawaiian-Asian fusion restaurant with two Illinois locations.
