BELOIT – Reconstruction of East Grand Avenue in downtown Beloit is scheduled to begin Monday, March 2, weather permitting. East Grand Avenue will be fully closed to vehicle traffic between State and Pleasant
streets throughout the project. The project is planned to be completed in early May, before the first outdoor farmers’ market.
Sidewalks will remain open during the majority of the reconstruction. Access to businesses will be maintained from back entrances or via the sidewalks. There will be minimal closures when active work is occurring on the sidewalks.
