BELOIT – Laura Shepherd and Rachel Thorp were planning their route as they were about to embark on the Downtown Beloit Association Wine and Beer Walk on Saturday.
“We go every year,” Shepherd said. “We like seeing the new shops. There’s always a new shop every year. We also like to meet the people and our fellow ‘Winers.’
The more than 400 walkers. had 23 venues to choose from to sample sips of wine, or beer, this year. Of the 23 venues hosting walkers, 14 offered both wine and beer, said Downtown Beloit Association Executive Director Shauna El-Amin
