BELOIT — The Beloit Daily News is heading back to the West Side.
Thursday and Friday, the Daily News moved out of the space at 444 E. Grand Ave. that the newspaper has called home since 2020. The Daily News has relocated to its new space at 690 Third St.
The new location is on the ground floor of the building that is attached to the Ironworks Campus by a walkway. It formerly was the World Headquarters for Beloit Corporation. The Stateline Community Foundation and Hendricks Holding Co. are among the other current occupants of the building.
“With our lease ending, I took the opportunity to evaluate what kind of space best supports the work we do at the Beloit Daily News,” said Rob Ireland, Beloit Daily News General Manager. “Our current office was larger than we needed, and the new location offers a better fit with dedicated parking and a more efficient layout. It’s a move that reflects how we’re evolving while continuing to serve the community.”
