BELOIT — The City of Beloit will apply for $250,000 in state grant funds to help Hendricks Commercial Properties move forward on its plan to build a four-story mixed use building at 80-100 E. Grand Ave.
On Monday night, the city council approved the city applying for a Community Development Investment grant from the Wisconsin Development Corp. (WEDC). The grant is a “pass-through” grant, meaning the city is applying specifically for HCP and wouldn’t be able to use the money any other way.
