BELOIT, Wis. — The City of Beloit Parks and Recreation Division is hosting its annual Winterfest celebration next week.
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy several free activities through the weekend, including:
- Friday, Jan. 23:
- Bingo, 1–2:30 pm, Grinnell Hall, 631 Bluff St.
- Saturday, Jan. 24:
- Indoor Winter Farmers Market and kids activities, 9 am–noon, Downtown Beloit Association, 557 E. Grand Ave.;
- Winter Dazzle Day, 10 am–noon, Nature at the Confluence, 306 Dickop St., South Beloit, IL;
- Hot Cocoa Bar and Kids Activities, 1–3 p.m., Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.;
- Gym Fun and More, 1–3 p.m., Boys and Girls Club, 202 Maple Ave. NEW
- Sunday, Jan. 25:
- Sleigh Rides, Bonfire and S’mores, 11 am–1 pm, Big Hill Park, 1201 Big Hill Road.
Winterfest will feature family open skate sessions at Edwards Ice Arena, a craft and sip workshop, and a special Winterfest discount at Alpine Hills Snow Park; fees apply for these events.
