BELOIT — George Aguirre moved to Beloit about three years ago from California, and he said one big difference about Beloit is the family-centered events offered here.
“They don’t have family events out there,” he said of his former home in California. “I like the family events .. the small town atmosphere.”
He was enjoying one of those family events Friday as the Beloit Public Library and the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) partnered up to present a free, outdoor movie in the library parking lot.
