BELOIT — Rudy Galindo had come to Beloit from Sycamore, Illinois to display his acrylic paintings at an artists’ market in the alleyway outside the Beloit Art Center.
He was one of about a dozen artists who were displaying and selling artwork during the Bel’Art Walk held Friday in downtown Beloit and at Beloit College.
The Bel’Art Walk included the artists’ market outside the Beloit Art Center, as well as the regular First Friday reception for two new artists who had their works on display inside the Art Center. In addition, there was a display of Beloit College students’ photography work at the Gallery ABBA just down the street on Grand Avenue. Also, Beloit College’s Wright Museum of Art was hosting the 68th Annual Beloit and Vicinity Exhibition
