BELOIT – The Beloit Taco Takedown, hosted by Henry Dorrbaker’s Pub & Play, raised $3,052 for local non-profit, VetsRoll.
The funds were raised in collaboration with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and contributions from event guests. The Taco Takedown was held Aug. 8 in the Spine area of the IronWorks Campus.
Throughout the event, one dollar from every Tito’s Handmade Vodka drink sold benefited VetsRoll, with Taco Takedown guests contributing additional donations.
The funds donated to VetsRoll will help support the organization’s annual trip, which gives approximately 200 WWII and Korean Era Veterans and ‘Rosie the Riveters’ the no-cost opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., where they visit war memorials, Arlington National Cemetery and the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
