BELOIT Cristina Parente had come to the corner of State Street and East Grand Avenue Friday to watch her son, Elisiah Parente Hallberg, play in the Beloit Memorial High School Jazz Ensemble. But, she also was enjoying lunch and the sunny afternoon in Downtown Beloit.
“It’s a great way to kick off the summer,” she said as she held a container of the Jamaican Jerk Rice Bowl served by Truk’t Street Tacos.
