Calvin Martin brought his daughter, his grandson and their friends to downtown Beloit Friday to enjoy some treats and the sparkling splendor of the Downtown Beloit Association Grand Lighted Parade.
“We came down to see Santa and the parade,” Martin said.
The group came early to get a good spot to view the parade, and to enjoy some snacks they bought at Northwoods Premium Confections. They didn’t mind the cold, saying it wasn’t as bad as previous years.
