On Saturday, when A&E debuts its new 12-episode series Betting on Beloit, it likely can count on Regina Dunkin to be watching.
“I watched the trailer. It’s really good,” said Dunkin, a former Beloit City Council member and School District of Beloit board member. “Konya Hendricks Schuh is a shining star. I can’t wait to see the whole series. It’s going to put a positive spotlight on Beloit.”
The series is centered on Schuh and her husband, Matt, and their efforts to renovate and resell homes in the historic districts near Beloit College, but the series also will heavily feature the now 25-year-long Beloit betterment project by Schuh’s famous mother, Diane Hendricks, who is co-founder of ABC Supply and other companies.
