Anyone who is not yet in the Christmas spirit should check out a few of the activities being offered this weekend. There are plenty of holiday offerings to enjoy in the area.
Here are some of the events planned.
Rockton Christmas Walk
Activities in Rockton kick off Friday at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the tree at Settlers Park. There will be lighted displays in the park and carolers will provide songs of the season.
On Saturday, events will begin at 4:30 in Village Green Park with the lighting of Katie’s Tree. The tree lighting honors Katie Cronin, who was dedicated to the community in many ways. Following the activities in Village Green Park, the lighted parade will move down Main Street starting at 6 p.m.
