Every season of the year, there are plenty of things to see and do, like the State Street Farmers Market every Saturday during the summer, or Fridays in the Park throughout the summer featuring food from local restaurants and musical entertainment. Beloit College features two notable museums with diverse collections and various displays throughout the year. The Logan Museum of Anthropology, one of the nation's first, houses an extensive collection of artifacts from around the world. The Logan Museum is open year-around, every Tuesday-Sunday from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 363-2110 for more information. The Wright Museum of Art displays many traveling and local collections and exhibitions, including student art exhibits and a monthly lecture series. The Wright Museum is open year-around, Tuesday-Sunday from 11a.m. to 4 p.m., irregular hours during College breaks. Call 363-2095 for information.

The Angel Museum is home to the largest collection of angels in the world, featuring and extensive black angel collection and donated memorial angels. The Museum also features a Heavenly Treasures Gift Shop and surrounding gardens. Seasonal hours. Call 362-9099 for more information.

Beloit's Farmers Market offers a wide variety of fresh produce, flowers, meats, fish, and jams and baked goods. The Market is held every Saturday morning during the summer and is located on the 300 block of State Street.

First National Plaza is a uniquely designed park which is a favorite gathering place for downtown strollers, and is home to the Fridays in the Park concert series throughout the summer.
