Downtown streets are adorned with blooms in the form of hanging baskets and planted urns. Volunteers and seasonal workers tenderly care for the greenspaces and plantings throughout the season.

Businesses throughout downtown Beloit transform into fine art galleries with many venues featuring live music and hors d’oeuvres. After hours hot spots offer live music on Friday night and a trolley is available throughout the weekend event.

An award-winning community tradition spanning over 30 years, the Downtown Beloit Farmers Market continues to grow with over 60 vendors weekly selling local produce, organics, baked goods, honey, jams & jellies, herbs, bedding plants, fish, meat, eggs & cheese, fresh flowers, artisan crafts, scents & skin care.

Dance in the streets of Downtown Beloit to local Blues favorite Glenn Davis at 5:30 and hot funk, rhythm & blues headliner The Eddie Butts Band at 8 p.m.! Local eateries spice it up with sizzling dinner fare while our happy hour on tap cools it down! Gates open at 5:30.
Halloween (October 31)
Children show off their costumes in a parade down Grand Avenue visiting Downtown Beloit businesses for treats during the last Farmers Market of the season. The fun includes live music and activities for all ghouls and goblins!
Holiday Lights (November through the Holiday Season)
Downtown streets are lit with thousands of sparkling lights throughout the holiday season, setting the streetscape aglow for the community to enjoy.
Grand Lighted Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting
(Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., November 27, the day after Thanksgiving)
There’s nothing quite like a lighted parade to spark off the holiday season! Live music and a choral sing in the First National Bank Plaza warms the crowd up for Santa’s arrival from a rooftop to light the tree.

A dazzling evening of celebration featuring artists, and specialty craftspeople in forty-plus locations as
they display one-of-a-kind gifts and unique pieces of art. Live music, Santa visits, children’s events and
holiday treats make this a truly special evening for the entire family.
